The Course

Beautifully swung middle latitude courses, each course differently nature adapted, marvelous view on the Sauerland, the Waldecker Upland and the neighboring places at the higher courses. The many young trees are still small and no obstacle, yet. The Greens are difficult to read, not large, usually raised and defended by a few shelters, stone biotopes or water. The greens defend themselves—the motto is “chip and run”—since they are hard and fast. The slope does not correspond to the reality and it is diffucult to play your handicap, since the ball may be affected by small inclinations, various natural obstacles and biotopes. For the rest a natural finished course in the style of Scottish village golf courses, attached to a sports site with sport home, soccer field, tennis facilities and a large playground, located at the outskirts of Westheim. The 9+6 hole course is placed on a 280 m high plateau at the east end of the Sauerland, directly next to a delightful village of 2000 inhabitants with a much praised brewery, is surrounded by wood and the beautiful countryside is close to the Eggegebirgswanderwege. The area is evenly to easily hilly, without large rises. Family-friendly place with much sun and beautiful view on the Sauerland.
